Juan Anzures, RN
Certified Specialist in Poison Information (CSPI)Juan Anzures graduated from El Paso Community College back in 1982 with an Associates Degree in Nursing. He was hired at what was then known as Thomason General Hospital right out of school. He started working as a Floating Registered Nurse.
After a couple of years, he transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where he worked for 16 years before applying at the West Texas Regional Poison Center. He was hired in 2001 as a Specialist in Poison Information and became certified in 2002. He has since recertified in 2009 scoring in the top 10% in the nation. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
